Pros: Exceedingly feature rich - seemingly does everything that the MSN protocol can do all on the MSN platform. On top of this, the app is customisable - to an extent.

Cons: The application is sluggish and the extras are few and far between.

Review: For me, the extras and feature abundance do not warrant an unpleasant interface and poor performance. It also runs on Linux, where both appearance and extras are more native and look more at home. It's also designed for Windows, although frankly, why one wouldn't use the official client on Windows is beyond me.
